INTROITUS

INTROITUS means entrance, and it was the first album of the project. Its twenty tracks move from light into shadow: the first half mostly in bright Lydian, the second sinking toward Phrygian. Each track takes one idea from the ancient world and draws on the five provinces the project works with — Rome, Greece, Egypt, Persia and the Celts. Several of these tracks later became starting points of the ELEMENTA albums.
